Requirements for DRC Recruitment 2020
Interested candidates for any of the above positions are to meet these requirements
Supply Chain Manager
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in humanitarian logistics management within the field of supply chain management, fleet management, asset management, and distribution support
- At least 3 years’ experience with people management
- Knowledge and experience in dealing with service providers and contractors’ management
- Excellent computer skills in MS Word & Excel, as well as experience working with an ERP system
- Experience with standard procurement procedures and documentation.
- Experience with construction and site project management
- Experience with auto mechanics or electrical installations
- Experience working in an (I)NGO
- Full professional proficiency in English
- Competence in providing technical guidance and training
- Working experience with relevant donors (e.g., UNHCR, ECHO, OFDA, WFP, DFID or BPRM guidelines)
- Ability to prepare basic training modules on accounting management and conduct on the job training.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel

Finance Specialist
Applicants for this position should meet these requirements;
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or Business Administration
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience in financial management
- Proven experience in managing large budgets
- Competence in providing technical guidance and training
- Proven experience in working with national partners, local/government authorities
- Working experience with relevant donors (e.g., UNHCR, ECHO, OFDA, WFP, DFID or BPRM guidelines)
- Ability to prepare basic training modules on accounting management and conduct on the job training.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
Education
- A University level degree in a relevant subject or technical qualification in the relevant sector
Desirable:
- A University degree or advanced professional qualification in Finance (Advanced Certificate in Accounting and Finance, Certificate in Business Accounting, etc.) (preferable)
- Working experience with relevant donors (e.g., UNHCR, ECHO, OFDA, WFP, DFID or BPRM guidelines)
