Requirements for IOM Recruitment 2020

The requirements for the above positions differ from one to the other but some of the common requirements are;

•  Master’s degree in International Relations, Management, Development Studies, Planning, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited academic institution with five
• years of relevant professional experience; or
• University degree in the above fields with seven years of relevant professional experience(this is less in some position)

Skills 

• Strong knowledge and cultural understanding of the country and conversant on country
• Good computer skills in Excel and PowerPoint

politics;

• Knowledge of the United Nations Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS) protocols and experience working in phase III (or above) security environment;
• Excellent communication and writing skills with the ability to analyses complex problems and identify and convey clear, rapid solutions;
• In-depth knowledge of the broad range of migration-related subject areas dealt with by the

Organization;

• Knowledge of UN and bilateral donor programming;
• Effective resource management skills;
• Strong general analytical skills
