The Dangote refinery currently has two(2) vacant positions for interested and qualified Nigerians to fill and the positions are;
- HSE Manager Worker Accommodation Camp
- Environmental Coordinator
Requirements for HSE Manager Worker Accommodation Camp
Interested candidates for this position are to meet the following requirements;
- Candidate should have very good technical capabilities and working knowledge of applicable HSE and Hygiene legislation and good industry-standard of practices (preferably in emerging countries)
- Candidate should have the skill and attitude to act in a proactive manner to anticipate problems and solve existing problems in the context of Camp / Project operational requirements;
- Candidate should have the ability to interface with management, contractors, regulators;
- Candidate should have strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Candidate should have experience in writing technical reports with minimal oversight;
- Candidate should have the flexibility to adapt to changing situations;
- Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written;
- Project Management, and presentation skills; and
- Able to listen to opinions, formulate recommendations in a confident and constructive manner.
- Candidate should have Graduate degree in science or engineering disciplines;
- Candidate should have 10+ years’ experience as HSE manager/supervisor in major projects in emerging countries, preferably Nigeria / Africa; and
- Candidate should have a track record in effective development/implementation of HSE and Hygiene Management Systems.
