About Action Contre LA Faim
Created in the context of the Afghan crisis in 1979, Action contre la Faim is part of the second generation of NGOs, the “French Doctors”, French doctors who in 1968, at the time of the Biafra war, rebelled against the silence of humanitarian aid workers, bound by secrecy and yet witnesses to the worst horrors. Wishing to force this silence by denouncing injustice, these NGOs added testimony to the action.

Job location: both positions are in Maiduguri
Requirements for Action Contre LA Faim Recruitment 2019
Interested applicants for the above positions are to meet these requirements;
- You hold a Master degree in Public Health, Medicine or Nursing with 5 years minimum of professional experiences and 2 years prior experience in Nutrition & Health.
- You should be recognized for your technical expertise in nutrition & health programming and experience in project cycle management, and analysis and evaluation into operational planning and strategy.
- You should have a strong ability to provide technical support in project proposal development and in conducting needs assessments.
- You should have strong skills in capacity-building development, training and coaching.
- Excellent diplomacy, negotiation and representation skills (nutrition & health cluster mechanisms) are required, hence you should have team management experience.
- A proven capacity to work in a complicated security environment is required.
- You should be fluent in English(spoken and written)
Job Duration:
This job duration is 6 months and 1 year respectively.
