About the National MSME Award
The National MSME Awards was introduced in 2018 by His Excellency Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbanjo as one of the core schemes of the National MSME Clinics. The award is designed to acknowledge, encourage, and reward outstanding businesses within the Nigerian MSME space.
Facts About National MSME Clinics
The Nationwide Micro Small and Medium Enterprise Clinics for Viable Enterprises (National MSME CLINICS) is an initiative of the Federal Government of Nigeria.
As one of the strategies for making it easier to do business in Nigeria, the project brings together key Federal Government agencies to a series of business forums organized in different cities across the country where MSMEs can interact more easily with them.
The MSME Clinics is a collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, State Governments, and key federal agencies such as; BOA, BOI, CAC, DBN, FIRS, ITF, NAFDAC, NITDA, NEXIM, NEPC, RMRDC, SMEDAN, SON, ACCESS BANK PLC.

Registration National MSME Award
The 5th edition of the National MSME Awards will be held on the World MSME Day 27th of June.
Selected MSMEs will get 10 brand new cars, this will be given to the 10 most outstanding MSMEs across various categories to recognize their excellence, hard work, and innovation during the year under review.
The Awards will air live across various tv and print media platforms with participation from captains of industry, Heads of Federal Government MDAs, and representatives of international development agencies.

Requirements for National MSME Award – www.msmeclinics.gov.ng
To apply for this award, you must meet the following criteria;
- Applicants must be 18 years and above
- All applicants must be indigenes and residents of Nigeria.
- Applicants must have a viable business idea.
- Applicants must have the relevant Federal Government regulatory certificates (CAC, Tax
- Clearance, SON, NAFDAC).
Applications are not required for the following categories:
- MSME of the Year
- Best Female MSME
- Best Male MSME
Video Entry Requirements
- Video must not exceed two (2) minutes
- Video entry filename must tally with the first and surname of the applicant
- The Video file must be in Mp4 video Format
- Video must be clear, concise, and descriptive of your business to explain and show the following:
- Production process
- Local content
- Labour force
- Impact on economy
People Note Eligible to Apply
- Applicants who do not meet the above criteria are not eligible to apply
- Previous winners are not eligible to apply
- Submission of incorrect information or documents will lead to disqualification

How to Register for National MSME Award
Interested MSME owners who wish to apply for the award can do so through the online registration portal by simply following these steps;
- Visit the MSME clinic website at https://msmeclinics.gov.ng/apply/
- Scroll down to the personal information section of the website
- Fill out the form and upload all required forms
- Hit the submit button
List of Required Documents
- Upload Video *not more than 10MB
- Upload CAC Certificate *not more than 1MB
- Tax Certificate *not more than 1MB
- SON Certificate *not more than 1MB
- NAFDAC Certificate *not more than 1MB
Application Deadline
The deadline to apply is 12th June
