www.lshsc-recruitment.com.ng: Medical Consultant Requirements at Lagos State Health Service Commission
The Lagos State Health Service Commission (LSHSC) has begun mass recruitment of clinical workers to fill existing vacancies and address the manpower deficits in all public secondary health facilities in the state.
This is in fulfillment of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s promise of making quality healthcare accessible to the residents of the State.
Dr. Ademuyiwa Eniayewun, the Permanent Secretary of LSHSC, noted this in a signed statement. According to Eniayewun, the recruitment will ensure that residents get optimal health care whenever they access government hospitals for medical services.
General Requirements for Lagos State Health Service Commission Recruitment 2025
Interested candidates for this recruitment are required to meet these general requirements and the professional requirements listed below
- Applicant should be a resident of Lagos State or must be willing to reside in Lagos State
- Applicants must be duly registered with the appropriate professional bodies or governing council in their field where necessary
- Applicants must possess a valid current practicing license.
- Applicants must participate in the recruitment CBT test to be eligible for final shortlisting or further interviews.

Medical Consultants Requirements at Lagos State Health Service Commission
Interested applicants must possess the following:
- MBBS degree or its equivalent from an accredited institution
- Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or its equivalent in the respective specialty
- Registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria
- Valid License to Practice
- NYSC Discharge / Exemption Certificate
- WAEC certificate or its equivalent
