Schools of Nursing In Nigeria Admission Portal
The first thing you would want to do as an admission seeker into any of the Nursing schools in Nigeria is to check online to know if your choice school of nursing has an online presence(a website) and then proceed to the website to check if the admission requirements are listed and also when the form is on sales.

Since some (if not most) of the Nursing schools doesn’t have an active website, your best bet is to search for them and then read up on blogs about their requirements(which we have listed here already) and then head to the school to purchase form once you have an idea of when their form goes on sell.

Requirements for School of Nursing
All prospective students of any School of Nursing in Nigeria are usually required to meet the following requirements in order to qualify to purchase the school admission form.

Requirements for Basic Programmes
- Candidate must not be pregnant
- You must be between the age of 18-35 years old.
- Candidate should have 5 O’level credit passes which must include; English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics etc

Requirements for Post Basic Programmes
- All candidates are to meet the above requirements(requirements for basic programme) and must have also completed their basic programme.
- Candidates should be 18 years and above(35 years limit does not apply here)
How to Buy School of Nursing Admission Form 2024
- Log on to your choice school’s website(Click here to see the schools of nursing we have covered and get a link to their website and official Facebook page)
- Check the website to find their admission portal to get their requirements(we already summarized it here). Â
- Check for online form purchase option( very few school of nursing has this option on their website)
- Look out for previous admission form announcement and note the date(commencement date and deadline)
- Also check for price of previous admission form(add 5,000 to what ever you see there to avoid surprises)
- Go to the school’s administrative block to make enquiries on form purchase and get the form if its available(this should be done before the date you noted from previous form sales).
- Fill in the registration form as directed on purchase and provide a good passport photograph. Â
- Print the payment slip and proceed to make payment at any bank location(if you have online form purchase option)
- Wait for the test invite via SMS and/ announcement for the entrance examination.
You can also try to build a relationship with an existing student of the school and beg them to help you get the form once it’s on sale or inform you once the form is available so you don’t have to pay transport to the school. You can do this by linking the school’s Facebook page and following up on active students with credible profile. Once you notice any, send a friend request then ask about the school.
Price of School of Nursing Admission Form in Nigeria
The price of admission form differs from one school to another but based on several research, we can say it is usually between N6,000 – N15,000( six thousand Naira to fifteen thousand Naira).
