Responsibilities of a Plumber
Below are some duties you will be expected to carry out as a plumbing apprentice on your resumption.
- Install and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment, and controls
- Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Repair and test any damaged or malfunctioning pipes, perform pressure tests from time to time, when required
- Assist in the installation, assembly, maintenance, fabrication, and repair of process piping systems
- Read and understand the standard methods, materials, and equipment used in piping
- Apply all codes to installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Work in cooperation with other trades and laborers to ensure that all specifications, legislation, and policies are met, and to ensure the efficient completion of any project
- Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications & Experience Needed to Work In Canada As a Plumber
You will be expected to meet these requirements if you wish to apply as a plumber apprentice in Canada.
- Good knowledge of maintenance, installation, and repair of piping systems.
- Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the job of a plumber
- Valid Driver’s License(since the job requires moving around, you may need a driving license)
- Plumbing Apprenticeship set up with Ontario College of Trades.
- Ability to commute/relocate
- Lively, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
