About the National Health Insurance Scheme(NHIS)

The National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) is a body established under Act 35 of the Nigeria 1999 Constitution. The body was established by the Federal Government of Nigeria with the aim of improving the health of all Nigerians at an affordable cost by providing social health insurance in Nigeria where health care services of contributors are paid from the common pool of funds contributed by the participants of the scheme through a pre-payment plan where participants pay a fixed regular amount.

Requirements for NHIS Recruitment 2022

Interested applicants for NHIS recruitment are to meet the following requirements to be considered for recruitment;

• The applicant should be a Nigerian
• Applicants should be between the age of 18-35 years as at the time of recruitment
• Applicants should have at least O’level, OND, B.Sc, HND, and any related certificate obtained from a government-approved institution.
• Applicants must be physically and mentally healthy.
