Government of Belgium Scholarship 2025 for International Students Fully Funded Application Portal and Requirements
The Belgium government hereby invites interested and eligible candidates all over the world, especially from developing countries, to apply now for the Government of Belgium Scholarship 2022. This scholarship is for the 2025 academic section; hence, all candidates are required to complete their application form before the commencement of the academic section. There is a total of 150 Scholarships as part of the Master’s program and 70 Grants for Short Training courses, including Full-time Bachelor’s, Master’s Degree, and Training Courses.
Note that this is a fully-funded scholarship; hence, all expenses are paid by the Belgium Government.

Benefits and Areas Covered by this Scholarship
This fully-funded scholarship covers the following;
| International travel costs | Receipts must be provided | Economy-class travel on an IATA-approved airline, with a maximum of one round-trip ticket per academic year. |
| Living allowance | Flat rate | 1150 €/month for a duration of 12 months. |
| Indirect mission fees | Flat rate | 150 €. This amount is given once per stay, upon arrival of the grantee. |
| Arrival allowance, tuition, and return fees | Flat rate | 700 €. This amount is given once per stay, upon arrival of the grantee. |
| Registration fees | At the current rate for DGD grantees. | |
| Insurance fees | Directly paid by ARES. | |
| Travel costs that are part of inter-university training | Receipts must be provided | Reimbursed based on real costs incurred, with receipts provided. |

Eligibility Criteria for Belgium Scholarship
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, you are to meet these basic requirements;
- Applicants should be citizens of a developing country. See the list of developing countries here
- Applicants should be under the age of 40 for Degree programs and under 45 for Training Courses at the time the training is scheduled to begin.
- Should have a Related Academic Background to apply for a relevant field.
- The Duration is One Academic Year
- Passive knowledge of English (reading) is required.
