BUA Cement Graduate Trainee Program 2022

There are two categories of recruitment under the BUA group graduate trainee program 2022 and they are as follow;

Trainee Graduate Engineers and
Trainee Graduate Operators

Trainee Graduate Engineers

The objective of the Graduate Engineering Trainee is to learn and gain practical experience under the guidance of a manager or supervisor, fulfilling various tasks ranging from assisting staff with a new project, offering suggestions on existing methods, conducting research, writing reports, managing data, and implementing systems, utilizing tools to optimize the cement production process.

Trainee Graduate Operators

To learn/train how to operate the plant equipment through the Centre Control Room (CCR) and to maintain an accurate log, record-keeping ensuring all information on the status of the operation is documented and keep superior information on operating conditions to enable monitoring of production progress and for the coordination of overall shift activities and effective coordination with maintenance activities.

The location of both positions is the company’s site at Okpella, Edo State.

Requirements for Trainee Graduate Engineers

Applicants wishing to apply for this role are to meet these requirements;

Educational Requirements;

Bachelor’s degree in the following Engineering discipline:

Electrical/Electronics, Instrumentation or Automation
Mechanical
Chemical
Process
Industrial
Mining
Production
Materials
Minimum of Second Class Upper.
Not more than 3 years post NYSC experience
Not more than 30years of age at the point of recruitment

BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES

Good team player
Must have a good level of order and cleanliness
Must be understanding, influencing, and good at communicating with people
High level of organization and be result-oriented
Must have a logical mind

Requirements for Trainee Graduate Operators

HND holder in the following Engineering:
Electrical /Instrumentation or Automation
Mechanical
Chemical
Process
Industrial chemistry
Applied Chemistry
Mining
Production
Materials
Minimum entering Upper credit
Not more than 3 years post NYSC experience
Minimum entering age not more than 30years of age.

The behavioral competencies here are the same as above.
