The federal government of Nigeria has come up with several employment initiatives to reduce the rate of unemployment that it currently ravaging the country and N-Power is designed for this purpose.

The N-power recruitment 2017 kick started yesterday the 15/06/2017 and the following sections are available for application.
N-Power Teach, N-power Health, N-power Agro and N-power Tax.

N-power Teach; N-Power Teach Volunteers will help improve basic education delivery in Nigeria. N-Power Teach Volunteers will be deployed as teacher assistants in primary schools around Nigeria. They will not replace the current teachers, but will work as support teachers across Nigeria, assisting with teaching, school management and other functions within the schools. Where possible, they will also assist in taking basic education to children in marginalized communities.

N-power Health; N-Power Health Volunteers will help improve and promote preventive healthcare in their communities to vulnerable members of the society including pregnant women and children and to families and individuals.

N-power Agro; N-Power Agro Volunteers will provide advisory services to farmers across the country. They will disseminate the knowledge that has been aggregated by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in the area of extension services. They will also gather data of Nigeria’s agriculture assets.

N-power Tax; The Federal Government seeks to encourage non-compliant and partially compliant taxpayers to come clean and declare and pay their appropriate tax due to the government. A minimum of 3,700 N-Power volunteers will be selected to work as Community Tax Liaison Officers to work in their states of residence with the state’s tax authorities. The N-Power community tax liaison officers will have the following key responsibilities which will include answering online inquiries, customer management, creating awareness of tax compliance.

Application for the N-power Recruitment 2017 is currently on and interested and qualified candidates are to apply online through the N-power Portal.
While on the portal, Applicants are to select their area of interest (N-Power Teach, N-power Health, N-power Agro and N-power Tax) and fill the application form with adequate information.

Criteria for N-Power Recruitment 2017

Currently Unemployed
Must be a graduate in any field or profession
Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps Programme
Aged 18-35
Disposition to teaching and imparting knowledge
Disposition to discovering knowledge
Patience and ability to listen are good qualities to possess

NPower registration closing date 2017

N-Power registration 2017, will run from the 15th of June to the 13th of July 2017. Make sure you fill your application with correct E-mail address (preferably Gmail) and very active phone number to receive your interview information.
